I am in 8th grade and my academics focus on the following courses:

- 8th Grade Math

- Science

- ELA

- Social Studies

- Electives: These change each quarter but include Computer Science, PE, Art, Music, STEM, Spanish and Career Readiness

 

I am an A or B student. My TCAP results for 2024 Spring Assessment exceeded the state and school average in the areas of Math, Science, Social Studies and ELA.

Tutoring:

My academic schedule is supplemented with tutoring outside of school in the areas of math, ELA and computer programming. I have also focused on ISEE test readiness to prepare me for the entrance exam to support private high school admissions. 

Apogee Strong is a mentorship program that I started at the end of my 7th grade year. Apogee's mission is to shape young men into better providers and protectors with experiences that prioritize servant leadership and personal growth. Every month, I receive challenges focused on developming my communication and leadership skills. We also have a reading list of non-fiction books that are focused on personal development.
